HOSA Competition Jan 2012
The San Marcos High School HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) chapter excelled in the Area 1 Competitions this weekend. Sponsor Sarah Moreno reports that the following students were recognized for their success:
• Patric Perez placed 5th in Epidemiology
• Brittney Brandon, Patric Perez, and Pamela Tovar placed 4th in Community Awareness
• Carpenter Campbell, Ian Gonzalez, and Caleb Ritchie placed 4th in Public Health Emergency Preparedness
The following HOSA students will advance to the State Competition:
• Joey Dolan-Galaviz placed 2nd in Extemporaneous Writing
• Paige Clayton, Rutherford Griffin, Alexis Kulik, and Frankie Torres placed 2nd in Biomedical Debate
• Elaine Reiche placed 1st in Sports Medicine.
Moreno also congratulates all HOSA members who participated, especially Ian Gonzalez who was elected HOSA Area 1 Vice President.
